I think Jack father is just how Jacob took form I don't think Jacob has a human form but works through others?

As to Suns hubby hmm I guess that now that he caught up with the others he is back. But it seams like he took a shorter time path?

Good point from Mark about Jin's time path. When we see the survivors on the mainland it's 3 years after their rescue but when we see the losties on the island re-unite with Jin they don't act as though he's been gone very long...maybe a few days.

They seem to be leading us to believe that no one on the island is either alive or dead, but then the purgatory theory was dismissed by the writers a few years ago.

I'm glad to see the smoke monster coming back!

Time on the island progresses at a different sped than the outside world.

It may be trying to make corrections in the time line. What has happened..happened and cant be changed, thus the "corrections"

Ok, in addition to Juliet, I am in love with Desmond's girlfriend - Penny.

Desmond is cool, but I'm not in love with him.

The beer is starting to kick-in.

Kate is the most indecisive, irrational, irresponsible, selfish nut job on TV. I liked Claire better.

Personally I think L O S T started getting its mojo back about midway through last season. They almost L O S T me season 3 - season 4 1/2 but I hung with it. I am glad I did. I am completely enjoying the plot switchbacks. You recall when Locke met Richard and discovered he had not been born yet and told him his birth date? Now go back to midway through season 4 when Richard visited Locke when when he was a child. This is what I like about L O S T, these are easter eggs for me. My wife, 14YO, & myself are enjoying season 5 as much as 1 & 2.

Random thoughts -

Ben Linus, best villain, better than the Smoking Man even. Pure, distilled evil & maybe the best portrayal of a sociopath put on TV.

Hope Ecko gets folded back into the story somehow.

Sayeed, Jin, & Sawyer on my side if the going gets tough.

Kate gets the Barbi Benton, separated at birth award.

Desmond certainly seems to have the most fleshed out role this season......so far.

Locke rocks, has always rocked.

Like the new characters. Good performances from all, Faraday especially.

Libby, ah Libby. What a shame. Bring back Libby.

I'm a big fan of the show.
The complexity of it had me hooked from the start.

Endlessly flowing open ended questions with curious twists and turns.
Connections, intersections, and resolutions that seemingly have no end.
Wild stuff, my friends
Plus, the way the writers forced us the have a vested emotional interest in the characters is.....I think..... brilliant.

IMO Some episodes/seasons were definately better than others.
But....
Just when I think they've streched the plot line way to thin, they come up with some crazy backstory or unseen connection that just makes you go.....huh?!?...Wow......Cool.

I'm really intrigued by the direction it's going, now.
Quantum physics.
Exotic matter.
Intervention of fate?
We'll see.....

Regards,
John

IMO, The BEST show ever made...I think because of the character-driven nature of the story, and the fact that even if you know what's going on you never really KNOW what's going on.
