Y'know what turns me off to that entire generation of sets? Something that did way back in the day and still does to this day--that plastic bezel makes it look like a table set sitting in a random cabinet. I always thought that looked stupid. OTOH some of the downright fugliest sixties consoles were the ones with controls located much too conspicuously over the right-hand section of grill cloth.
