Can't remember the name of the movie but Rutger Hauer was in it. Some military action flick. I like Rutger Hauer and lots of explosions. After 5 minutes I had to turn it off.

You want really bad sleeper. Andy Warhol's 1st movie, a silent film called "Sleep" was 6 hours long. It was suppose to be 8 hours. You guessed it. It was about a guy sleeping.

NO list of really horrendous movies would be complete without the inclusion of the cinematic butchery of Tom Wolfe's, Day of the Locust. The book was no literary masterpiece, but was sent to heretofore unheard-of depths in the film rendition.

Yeah, Showgirls was bad, but it was so bad it was funny.

And the only redeeming feature of Ishtar was the blind camel.

But for TRULY rotten cinema, you just can't get worse than Two Moon Junction. Makes Ishtar look like Citizen Kane. Sat through an hour of that trash before walking out, then was angry at myself that I'd waited that long.

Bench Warmers can't be worse than Date Movie. I was treated to this steaming pile of dung on DVD at work last night. I don't know what the hell Alysson Hannigan was doing starring in this POS. Now there is one hot red head, and after her success in American Pie flicks and with her sitcom, they must have paid her a gazillion dollars to appear in this film. Whatever happened to great parody flicks like Airplane or Naked Gun 2 1/2?

Face it, fellow Karmics, there are many worthwhile candidates for "WORST POS" movie. Most of those mentioned in this thread are in the running.

We love bad movies because they make us laugh. Maybe we didn't laugh while suffering through one, especially at today's ticket prices, but we almost always laugh afterwards. We get the joke, even if the producers and filmmakers did not.

VALLEY OF THE DOLLS
my vote for top of the steaming heap

My nomination: Razor Blade Smile -- only redeeming feature was the clever thought about how a girl being in her time of the month would trigger a vampire to get bitey. Not worth it -- me telling you was enough.

Although Ishtar is up there.

Same guy (Zucker) did Scary Movie 3 & 4 (not 1 nor 2, however). The man is a genius, easily my favourite comedy director ever.

Worst POS movie I have ever seen:

Battlefield Earth

Ok, stop.

I did NOT pay to see it. I won a free ticket at Taco Bell (on a side note, is PepsiCo one of them???)

So yes, without dropping coin into, uhhh, into evil ZARKON's pocket, I went to go see it.

Holy cow, I was afraid of the audience. Spooky cooky Dianetics freakazoids. Cooky? Yes. Ok no big deal. But then the thought of "DANGER" grew in my mind. These cooky spookies are dangerous! So I sat through this FRICKIN' POS movie trying to study up on The Great Mesage while having paranoid thoughts of being reprogrammed.

If I offended you, so be it

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one.

I bought numerous copies of Gigli as gifts for the holidays a couple years ago
