I think that the actor Michael Chiklis is amazing. I never saw the Commish, his other tv gig, but heard he was great in that as well, although the roles, the charactors are completely different.
Although I was not fond of the movie, I found his acting in Fantastic Four to be spot-on too. And the interviews in the "Making of..." part of that film show how kind and nice of a guy he is- affable, likeable, considerate- nothing like his charactor. I find the writing regarding some of the continuing plot lines to be a little exaggerated and barely believable (my opinion) but the charactors are so well developed and interesting, and the acting for the most part by all cast members to be top-notch, it's worth watching the show for that alone.
