Found a portacolor at the dump - Videokarma.org TV - Video

When I was at the dump today I saw an RCA portable color TV, model XL-100 (I think) with about a 12" screen and it was a really deep cabinet so I figure it is what you guys into the newer stuff call portacolors. It looked 100% SS though. It apparently also works with a remote control which was not included. It was in nice looking condition. I left it behind as I have no interest in these but if someone wants it bad enough I'll look for it next time I go which may be next Wednesday. The dump is open Saturdays and Wednesdays. I'd say there is a good chance I can get it. My terms are free to a good home but pickup only. I might be able to get it to Tim's place in Buffalo if that helps.

that is not a portacolor.
the portacolor is a ge and they are easy to spot.
they are twice as wide as you would think they should be.
xl100 is a ss set.portacolor is a tube set.the rare portacolor 2 is ss.

Are you suggesting that some of the stuff left at my landfill site may be trash?

some of the so called trash found at the dump is of better quality than what you can buy new.

Well it only gets thrown into and out of the truck once, unlike new stuff delivered by UPS.
