Emerson pocket (mini-tube) radio
Emerson, ever the maker of novelty radios with duplicated numbers, produced a pocket tube job just like a Sears Silvertone I have like this one
https://radiogallery.net/radio.htm?radio=10465 I estimate the date to be mid 1950s, both have CD marks on dial. The Emerson uses a 45v B battery and a 1.5v C cell, only its missing c-cell battery cover. I haven't opened it all the way up yet, the four tube types may be 1AE5-1AK4 Both could be considered a pocket radio, mainly due to use of "T2 x 3" ob-round sub-miniature tubes. Pretty cool. Wouldn't be surprised if either Emerson was the OEM Silvertone bought these from or if both Silvertone and Emerson both them from the same third party OEM.
