As I mentioned, I'm done with the set for now... But it's still a bit too wide and linearity is off, as for width, S101 adjusts it by swapping in resistors on G2 of the HOT, what effect will raising or lowering the values of them have on width? Someone also mentioned changing the 100 ohm cathode resistor to a lower value, but won't that also lower the HV as well?

You could experiment with a width sleeve. That consists of some thin brass shim stock wrapped one turn around the neck, so it just overlaps. If I recall correctly you get the most width with it removed, and gets less as you slide it into the yoke.

Brittany still working OK, but vertical stability still touchy when first turned on, getting a trio of $35 NOS Sylvania 6SN7GTs seems to have cut the time in half, perhaps even MORE $$$ NOS ones may shave more time off for the sync clipper/leveler vert osc? It seems to be really picky about the tubes in the area, and wants strong ones.

The vertical bug on the set still is nagging me, it works, but not as well as it could. I guess I missed something.
Not sure it I got all the resistors or not. I think I replaced these, or SOME of these. http://suzaku.live-evil.org/vertical...or circuit.jpg http://suzaku.live-evil.org/vertical...circuit-ss.jpg That mica was replaced, with a film cap. Next time I have the chassis out, I will make sure to replace ALL those resistors with new film types, and put in better caps NP0 types, and a Mica one where the .0047 was before, and perhaps I wont take 5-10 min before it's stable.
