Mister Ed wins a color tv!
I got a glimpse of it and it appears to be a magnavox roundie with uhf. It is a hilarious episode inwhich the radio station has a contest to answer the name of a russian chess player and wouldn't you know it? Mister ed is also a great chess player!
right now i am watching another episode inwhich ed is trying to get wilbur to buy him a color tv for thier anniversary. With 5 minutes left i guess he doesn't get it. i love this show. The writing is the best. The actors are all charming. Alan young is perfect in every way. I only wish i had kids to watch it with but the humor is adult as well. alan has done a recent interview discussing his career. It's on youtube and very interesting. Peanut butter is not what made ed move his lipps and alan didn:t lie to kids about that! |

But the Posts did get a color tv. Here is a screen shot of Carol Post & her father sitting in front of the set.

I saw that episode recently. When Wilbur rolled it into the living room, the back looked alot like a GE

Yes, I'm sure I recall this conversation being had here before and it was determined to be a GE.
