Haven't seen this since it was on TV, years ago. This episode covers Baird's early experiments to a working color set in the late 40's. It also has early working British TV's and a surprise ending.

Oh I LOVED these. I think I even torrented a whole bunch of them a couple years ago (didn't know how to BUY them...but would have)

I think the whole series is on YouTube. I watched the radio, refrigerator, video recorder and telephone videos. The fun part is, there are usually lots of vintage stuff on it.

I LOVED the Evil Grin Tim had on his face when they set that "Pile" of old "Tellies" on fire in that episode, as you watched 'em sput, sputter, & DIE in his glasses... HE would be a VERY Kewl guy to hang with, & see what kinds of Good Clean, NASTY Fun you & he could get into... Bein's he's English, he prolly HASN'T ever had much dealings w/Firearms....But I could rectify THAT problem real quick....Mbwahahahahahaha...
