Predicta on Fringe

In a scene from Fringe "The Observer" goes into an old time looking TV Repair shop to get some parts he needs, as he walks through there's a blond Predicta sitting on the bench!

The Tech brings him an Electron Gun from a "1958 RCA Color TV" that's actually what he said!
He's holding the neck of some CRT, hopefully it wasn't really a 21CYP22.

The details of this shop make me wonder if it wasn't filmed on location in a real shop somewhere, possibly in Los Angeles, note the box on the right that has 5U4 written on it, there were also shelves full of boxes of parts.

I also spotted a Sylvania Sylouette (sic?) on American Horror Story but it wasn't clear enough to take a pic of it.

Nice picture!
I see an RCA voltohmyst WV-98C to the left.
The consoles appear to be at least mid 70s.

To erase someone from history of course. Fringe is filmed in Vancouver, BC so the shop is likely in that area. Betamax also features big in the 5th season. Mad scientist Walter decides to record his plans to save the world on his favorite BetaMovie camcorder. They somehow found a working deck to play them back in the year 2036!

More scenes of the shop can be viewed in these screen shots. Use the arrows in the upper right to advance.

A couple more old TV's on season 5 of Fringe, the Predicta is no doubt the same one as before but there's also a 14" 1957-8 RCA.

This season is set in the year 2036 BTW.
