Many 60's era RCA sets had those lime green labels then as I remember them clear as day from back in the early 70's when I worked on these.

It pretty much boiled down to who was the paper supplier for a particular run of labels, some were green, others white, others grey. And the cabinets didn't reflect the color of the label either...
Actually, if the label was green, that means Sarnoff got lucky with his wife the night before the set was built. If it was white, she had a headache. If it was gray, Sarnoff couldn't perform, and was embarrassed If the label was missing, he had secretly seen a woman of ill repute that night.
