Hi, I am looking for some advice if this Samsung TV would be a Good buy or just be a big headache(Does this model have a know to fail chassis or CRT?). i would be useing this TV in my bedroom as i can not afford a flat Screen right now (I'm only 17) and i like CRT tvs anyway i hope one day to own a 60's round tube set!
i can get it for $35 and from what i found out it is a HD CRT set i don't for sure know the Model # but i found a mach to the photos of it i think the model # is TX P3271H the other thing is what would be the easyest way to get this 150lb tv up 12 steps to my room it will only be me and my mom and dad doing it and i can lift no more then 40 pounds because i hurt my wrist last week i was thinking of renting a hand car from u haul or buying a big box to put the tv in. What do you think is the easiest way?. Thanks in advance for your help! Here are the pics of the tv i may be getting tomorrow.5G45K35M73Gb3L43lac56238df819768413e5.jpg 5I75Ee5K33E13K53L4c56ce4fc7cd58f71030.jpg |

Only problems I've seen on these sets is when they get a million hours on them (usually when people run them all night asleep on the coach for years) they blank their video as the CRT gets weak. Other than that, they can make a great picture!
CRT sets with line doublers are not too plentful. Nice feature! I'd say if it makes a good picture jump on it! |

Don't try to move it without a hand dolly. You can rent an appliance dolly complete with straps to hold the TV. Pad the screen with a throw rug or several thicknesses of towels and put the screen towards the dolly. One guy pulling up on the dolly handles, two below helping lift the set up, tread by tread.

The DVD player was set at 480i useing RCA cables and it worked before we left so it is not that. after that disappointment my birthday is comeing up and my dad said he will buy me a 32" flat screen any thing bigger and i will have to pay the difference(Only $100 more for the 47") i found a good deal on a 1080p 47" Vizio and it had good revues too so i am now waiting for that to come. The good news is my 27" CRT RCA that stoped working (that was why i was getting that tv) Is now working %100 it was only a bad plug in the power strip i never checked that being every thing pluged in to it was working fine i will keep that for playing VHS Videos because i don't think it will look good at all on a lcd.
