This Guy Can't Be Serious.....
He say's it's probably from the Late-1960's or Early-1970's. It's actually quite funny. I love how he says, "back in the day." I see sets at Goodwill older than this.

It peeves me that people dont know what real vintage is, or looks like. 60's, or 70's? More like late 80's to early 90's!

Those were good sets; but, it's about 20-25 years newer than he thinks it is.
It reminds me of the time I ran an ad in the local paper, looking for old TV's with knobs from the '40's through the '70's. 99.9% of the calls I received were from people wanting to sell me their 10 year old crap sets. And, many of the people sounded old enough to have known better.

Yep! That is an oldie!! Why, I remember back in '96 we got ourselves one of them twenty five inch stereophonic color tv sets!! And back in '03, they were still selling them things! Those were the days!
Seriously, if I were closer, I would love that set. My RCA 25" has a convergeance problem, but it had a beautiful picture. There was its twin in the ReStore recently for $100, it was tempting, but not for that price. I think I will at least see if this one is salvageable. I had tried to find a portable stereo record player through Craigslist once, with the original ad included. Did not get the first bite. I did find my armoire color theatre when the furniture store guy wanted me to look at his old '70s piece in a back garage bay.

You have to remember the age range of the person advertising it. It's hard for me to fathom that my 1985 Chevy conversion van is eligible for historical vehicle plates in NY!
We're getting older, guys  Ironically, that set's very close to the RCA Colortrak 2000 that's the daily watcher here. Mine's a 1986.

i just spoke with a gentleman about a set.told me it was "old school" and "vintage".turned out to be a zenith from 1996!
