Most definitely not rare, much less "very rare" probably one of the most common 1950's sets around although the Red ones with a stand are more difficult to come by, still it's a good deal at $75 if it's in decent shape

I wonder what is missing on the stand? About the only thing it could be is one of the bolts, or the mounting hole in the case.

I like that zenith chromacolor 2 on the swivel in Lakeland, I just have NO more room. I saved the listing anyway incase I can make some room.

I wonder if that is the Horz chassis 25DC56/57 ?

the zenith on the swizel base is a vertical chassis.1977-79 vintage.very,very good set.up there with the flat chassis.i some opinions,maybe better?i have 2 of these sets and both are excellent.one has a sylvania 25vdmp22 and the other is a 23v model.excellent set and if i were closer,it would be mine

That Curtis Mathes is at least very well cared for!

The VCR is exactly the same one as my first VCR also purchased in 83, mine was branded Magnavox (or was it Panasonic?) anyway it was built like a tank but had a very mediocre picture.

That entertainment center appears to have had a life of luxury, if it were closer I might consider it if they would drop the price by 10 fold. I've had 2 of those 80's vintage NEC CM's and they both are / were in that condition or better and produced a great picture. Gave one of them away, still have one.

That vcr reminds me of the ancient GE 1VCRxxx model I have here. Looks and runs great, but mediocre picture quality at best.

We got the same Zenith on the swivel stand in 1978, my parents first color console, they traded it in '84 for a Zenith console in a wooden cabinet with remote. If I were close to Lakeland, I'd buy the thing for sentimental reasons. Only thing I think that went wrong with theirs was the channel changer knob broke, and was replaced with an improved Zenith knob. I have a Sony KV-1212 in my livingroom, only thing wrong is a minute chip off the veneer. Is that model really as old as 1969?

Most of the other sets, especially the combos, were quite enticing, and I could find room for at least one of them.

I can see someone calling a cellular phone from the 1980's "vintage," but definitely not a TV.

That Sony KV1212 was a 1972 model. I had one. It sold me on Sony picture quality.
