what is that anyway?
the 2 knobs at the top means its not an rca,zenith,ect. maybe a silvertone or wards/airline? tell em you will trade them a nice camera and some instructions for taking good pictures for it!

Looks like a ctc-30 RCA to me or such.
They DO have two small knobs at the top like that--and a strip next to the knobs that shows the channel # in a vewrtical column, which can be seen in that pix.

Actually, it looks like a CTC-21 series.
Maybe they mean $1000 Taiwan dollars which would be about $30 US dollars.  I sure wouldn't pay that for a set, especially just the tv. But they are pretty cool sets, especially in the faceplate design, IMHO.

Yeah, nice set.. 1000 is a little outta the range though. It is clean, and cataract free.
