Your Heathkit is a rarity - only produced for a couple of years. I was looking for one back in the pre-internet days, and had no luck. I ended up getting a Leader FM Composite/Stereo Generator. Your Heathkit, the Leader (LSG-something, I can't remember) and the Sencore SG-165 were the first FM Stereo generators for most techs.
RF output on your Heathkit looks to be 300 ohms balanced. Kinda odd - all of the others I've seen were mod'd for 75 ohm output. Easy to do - just stuff the balun behind the front panel and come out via a BNC jack or female F fitting. Zenith Wavemagnets, if good, command a nice price on fleabay. Cheers,
