Congratulations! for these great pictures. Apparently you've still got some OTA NTSC in your location, that's great for testing. Hi Charles, Thanks! for the comment. Coming back to the service manual, i would be curious to know if yours is more complete than ours, which may be a very early publication: no parts list, no alignment procedure, no CRT replacement instructions, no convergence & white balance procedure. Could you please have a look, if easy to locate, Thanks! in advance. A last comment: in this TV, only the 75V DC supply uses a conventional series-regulated ballast, all other voltages are derived from the fHOT/lyback system. You can feel that Sony was testing the concept of alternate, more efficient power supply systems which would later come into full bloom in the KV-5000/5100 Series with the "switch-mode PSU from Hell"!
