He gets his caps from China - give me a few days to return to Norfolk, and I'll give you the url for the company Just Radios gets theirs from - found it after compaing logos to those on alibaba.com under "film capacitors" - searched Taiwan and Chinese companies. I'm thinking it is Jaiwan or something of the sort.
BTW, it is hard to find values less than .01uFd from most Taiwan/China Manufacturers. Justradios found one of the few that manufacture them. Cheers,

Thanks Brain! Look forward to hearing back from you on this. I figured they might be chinese made. One of the reasons I like the sprague (vishay) orange drops is because they are still made in USA and of outstanding quality. I couldn't recap something so special like a zenith TO or an early color set with foreign parts if I don't have to.
I wish sprague made the axial type "orange drop" 192P series in more values. If they did, I'd be buying those for everything. With the econony in a major downfall, Im seeing more and more companies go under, from food manufactuers to machinery all over the chicago area and everywhere else. I get concerned over companies like Vishay keeping the sprague line of capacitors going. They are very expensive, but worth every penny. Maybe its me, but I feel like I have a limited window of opportunitiy to still buy these caps. Anything electronic made in USA today is truly a miracle of existance.

Nichicon is my choice for electrolytics
I get them from Mouser by the hundreds. I usually get type UPW, or UHE. There are hundreds of options but these seem to hold up real well,handle lots of ripple current, have long life and low ESR. You can download data sheets from the links in Mousers' online catalog and compare the factors that are most important to you.

I've been using the "bargain bin" mylar caps from justradios.com. They aren't name brand caps, but they have held up well for me. No complaints. I sometimes have to combine caps to get the right value though.
