At least three years ago, long before the digital switch, I found one of those in the trash and brought it home just to see what it would do.
It made a great picture straight from the curb. I couldn't give it away on Craigslist.  Sorry to poop on your parade, but everyone of the tenants who live in the houses I rent has cable, and a better (i.e. more expensive, newer) TV set than I do... In addition to a half-dozen other expensive toys I don't own.
