Forgetting Sara Marshall. Very funny. The dumb chick from That 70's Show is amazing in it. A totally different side to her acting.

My wife and I liked it too,but we now have a running joke about R rated comedies:We always bet whether there will be a penis in it or not.

I liked this one too. Russell Brand, (the rockstar), was hilarious.

The last movie I watched was The Hunting Party with Richard Gere and Terrence Howard. It's about some journalist who go back to Sarajevo for the 5th anniversary of the end of the war. They end up trying to catch a wanted war criminal. Really good film, IMO.

Gran Torino. Great movie! Not exactly an edge of your seat action thriller, but a great movie nonetheless.

Really liked Gran Torino. Saw it in the theater and watched it again last week. Great story and old school Clint Eastwood

Planet Terror was, to me, strongly reminiscent of Peter Jackson's splatstick horror-comedy Brain Dead (aka Dead Alive) in that no matter how grotesque and gory the imagery was, there was a strong undercurrent of comedy to the storyline. I mean come ON! A woman loses her leg and gets a high-powered machine gun as a replacement prosthesis? Geez! I liked it, too. Death Proof sucked, though.

I just saw Gran Torino at home Friday night and agree it was amazing. Classic Eastwood but in a way also reflective of his age.. I wonder if the ending has some deeper meaning for him?? (I dont want to spoil it if others have not seen it.)

THE VALLEY OF ELAH: TOMMY LEE JONES. Powerful in its look at the dispassionate reaction of a murderer.

Fast Company, 1979

Pretty typical Drag Racing "B" movie.
Good footage of vintage racing, lots of fun.

CONTACT

By Sunday afternoon, we're done with all the little niggly chores and tasks we have to do around the house so we have a regular Sunday afternoon movie time where we lock ourselves in the room, tell the kids (if they are even there) to fend for themselves for lunch, and get lost in a movie. My wife wanted to see Contact again. I can watch Jodie Fo - uhh, I mean Contact any time
