Hamvention is coming next week.
I just thought i would post a little friendly reminder that the dayton hamvention is NEXT WEEKEND(FRIDAY, SAT, AND SUNDAY.) In case anyone out there has forgotten, or was unaware of this.
Three years ago, on sunday, after 2:00, i found a TRUNKLOAD of FREE literature(manuals, books, etc.,) on old tv's and radios.This may not happen again this year, BUT ,ONE NEVER KNOWS!!

OK, OK, so I'll go $100-150...But NOT a penny more, dammitt ! Whimper...I can ALMOST remember the days when you COULD score a 390A for $100-150... They're gone forever, I'm afraid...

i cant remember those prices but... i remember seeing them in the old fair radio sales catologs for $300.
