Is there anything worthwhile in the pile? Otherwise I think it's going to get dumped/fishtanked.

Could that be a 21--P22 in the box (color roundie)? Sylvania halo-light on the floor?

Please post any thoughts, the guy was nice enough to take the pictures for me before trashing them...

Nothing particularly interesting set wise except for the one decent looking console on the right, however it would be nice to save the CRTS.

It looks like the one face down could be new it has a warranty card wrapped around the neck, if it's not scratched up from sitting on it's face.

If this were, say, within 2 hours of me...I would grab the whole pile and ask questions later. Who knows what you might find? There could be other crts/parts/literature. Nothing overly exciting in the pictures but at least a couple of those sets deserve a better fate than the landfill.

Does anyone disagree with me that the box on the middle set might contain a color CRT?

I can't tell if the box label says "ge" or if it's the RCA circle-logo.

I'd want to study those sets carefully before getting too involved with them; there is glaring evidence of past moisture, which means a good chance of extensive corrosion and reliability issues.

This looks like the lot I had here--well over 150 sets, and all moisture-damaged. I pulled them out of a long-retired TV tech's cellar in a deal made with him for several Tek scopes and other interesting gear he had--I clean out his cellar--I get his test equipment.

The scopes were all damaged beyond repair, as they were submerged a few times in floods that took place there. The old guy was unaware, as he had been unable for years to go down and do anything there in his basement workshop. But the high-water mark was obvious, and well up most of the equipment stored there.

He was convinced he had a gold mine of stuff there. but the only piece of test gear that was salvageable was a B&K "flying spot" video generator, and I had to pay later to get rid of the best part of that lot of TVs--to say nothing of the labor involving me and a bunch of friends in moving the damned things.

As remarked the CRTs in the posted pics may be of value, especially the unmounted ones.

I'd risk saying that it is GE.

It looks like GE to me; the box strikes me as being too old for color, but anything's possible...could be from the mid-50s and color so you never know. I can spot a GE service manual that looks like it came from the 70s, so there could be a wide range of stuff.
