Why is everyone turning up their nose?
Hello everyone,
I really wish everyone would be a lot more positive lately on anyone trying to sell a classic TV. That attitude is almost self defeating in itself. Many other posts are done complaining that people aren't keeping classic TVs alive. ![]() Second, THIS IS an identical set to my 25CC55 solid state chassis Which is THE OLDEST known surviving large screen EARLY zenith solid state tv utilizing the infamous Chromacolor CRT. Any other SS chassis is probaly limited run or prototype which there are none known. The condition is impeccaable for a nearly 40 YO TV. The modules are actually built on breadboards. Everthing is plug in as every other SS consumer product until reliablity and cost cutting removes plug in sockets . THIS IS a horiz large chassis, pretty much and over sized tube chassis used for SS and full size cabinet. If I was closer, would get. This is Zenith's goldern age of TV when they dominated the market with their high performance black matrix CRT. The picture this sets makes is unreal. The Zenith history website states the CRT was the standard to be judged by for years. 1970's sets are the most over looked and least sought after. Solid wood cabinet with matching cabinetry. That special tuner DRH knows about. Rarer than many 1950's color sets by the survival #'s. The last great era of American TV.........
