If I had to pick an "educational" show it would be THIS OLD HOUSE or AMERICAN MASTERS or HISTORY DETECTIVES or IRON CHEF AMERICA, all of which I try to never miss. MYTH BUSTERS was good but these last two seasons have been a let down for me. There's now a lot more blowing stuff up and a lot less real myth busting.
I do really like DIRTY JOBS. Mike needs and has a very strong stomach and an even stronger sense of humor.

The first season of Dexter has just finished on free to air TV in OZ and me and Mrs Caddis were hooked. I think I'll have to get my hands on the second season, can wait for it to be back on the telly

Another vote for "Pushing Daiseys". Looks like I need to venture out and watch some other shows listed here, like Mad Men, Burn Notice.

The shows are just hitting the new season and I find it's easy to forget favorites from last year, because of the strike. I have become hooked on several returning shows:
Eureka Battlestar Galactica Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Life Prison Break Bones NCIS A new show, "The Mentalist", has caught my eye and intrigues me enough to try it for 4 or 5 episodes. So far, so good. "Fringe" hooked me right from the start. I think I've posted way beyond what my "Favorite Current TV Show" is. Oops.

I forgot to mention "Flashpoint" a new show about a fictional Toronto police ERT squad. Hooked me from the start.

Jericho was a great show that realy needs to be picked up by another network. It had a great and different story line. It was not truly given a chance...horrible time slot!
