October is a great month for B movies. Plan 9 is coming up on TCM soon and I can't wait, even though I've seen it countless times, my enthusiasm remains the same.
Anything by Ed Wood is a pleasure, but I'll mention "Glen or Glenda." It's a must see. "Pull the string! Pull the string!" |

I saw a movie review that called "Highlander" the greatest B movie of all time. I hadn't thought of it as one until that moment.
Scanners Night of the Comet Hell comes to Frogtown Wolfen The Hidden The origial "War of the Worlds" with Gene Barry was the "Gone with the Wind" of badly acted SciFi, does that count.

Laugh-a while you can, monkey boy! Blue Velvet is another good one, and although it's been mentioned several times, I'll mention Repo Man again. Mars Attacks is also a classic. How about Cecil B. Demented? Or Smooth Talk? |

They Live. Isn't it about time for this great political movie to come out on late night TV again? After all, we have a Presidential election just around the corner.

"Blood Waters of Doctor Z" (aka 'Zaat'). got the MST3K treatment.
"I Walked with a Zombie" very atmospheric "Gargoyles" wi Cornell Wilde. watched as a kid, spooky stuff (for the time)

My favorite classic of all time is FREAKS: 1932 movie about circus life with real people with deformities. A chilling piece indeed!
Rodan Dracula has Risen from the Grave: The Great Christopher Lee From Hell it Came: The Killer Tree Killer Shrews Attack of the 50 foot woman I also remember a movie about some brains that could attack people. They melted in the end. So many more! Rome

The movies last 30 seconds....have me peeing my jeans with laughter!! HELL COMES TO FROGTOWN: Futuristic "Mad Max" movie.....where our hero is the ONLY man in the world who is.....NOT STERILE! His escape from a gang of Amazon women.....by holding his own PENIS hostage with a KNIFE.....kinda says it all!!?? Steve |
