I've been wondering about this as well, I've been collecting tvs most of my life and would like to do so for the rest of it. But what happens then? Who do I leave these things to? Everyone I know personally, hates them and would not hesitate to toss them
{except maybe my GF } I have thought about donating them to the ETF {given it's still there} or something like the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. I was there recently and the only example of early color or tv in general was a crappy Heathkit that you couldn't even see the screen on because of the way they had it displayed, I thought hmmm... I can see a better exhibit in my own home.
