Moyer's had one RAM X045 left in stock, which they (like Don) indicated is correct. It's on the way, but now I'm wondering if the network is to remain intact, or if it should be eliminated when using the RAM replacement. Maybe it will have some instructions with it?!?
Speaking of the "capacitor - resistor network", have any of you seen in person what this looks like in a GE810? When I first saw it on mine, I assumed it was something that somebody cobbled together to make an incorrect replacement flyback work. It's a little train of resitors and capacitors soldered together end to end between the fly and the top cap of the 6BG6 and covered in a piece of rubber sleeving. When I got my SAMS and saw in the picture that this is "factory", I couldn't believe my eyes...very strange design.
