i have one that has a soft picture also. tube checks excellent,so i expect it to be as good as some other rcas. high voltage is on the money ,but it just looks soft. i had the same issue on an old accucolor. great tube,soft picture. the very next rca(xl-100) had a great picture with essentialy the same tube,sans the safety glass. been there.
