hey, on September 12, 1989 in the late morning, i met a quite deranged and bit tipsy Katharina Witt in the Berlin Subway Line 9. In the night from 11 to 12 the surprised eastgerman Grenz-Polizei had to let go people cross border after some contradictory broadcasting of a sentence Günter Schabowski, Mitglied des SED-Politbüros, read from a paper somebody gave to him on a Radio broadcasted press-conference on afternoon of 11th.
I accompanied her and 2 Friends til Zoological Garden (West)  I guess not alot people were recognizing her in the crowd....
