I'm pretty sure this is one of the horizontal solid state chassis from about '74. Probably a 25EC58. A friend of mine had this exact same model TV in his shop about 12 years ago and it had an excellent picture. This would be one to grab if someone lives close enough to get it.

I have the remote version of this set. Its a '73. Last year for the horizontal solid state chassis. Mine has a 25DC56, and this one most likely has it too. IMO, the horizontal solid state chassis was the best chassis zenith ever made.

I still have my big Zenith remote 25" console that uses the 25EC58 flat chassis that I posted on here a few months ago. I need to hurry up and fix the tuner in that set so I can enjoy it. Man, that chassis is a work of art by itself. I was showing a friend the insides of my set and he was shocked at how much metal was in there and how much effort they went to build that thing. It's certainly not a current wal mart special by any means!
