Anyhoo, I replaced the 6gh8As in the Sylvania as recommended--with 6ea8s, actually--and that took care of the sync problem. Thanks guys!

Now it looks like my vertical linearity is all off. No amount of twidding with the vlin/size/position controls will fix the problem. I don't remember having this problem before I replaced those tubes. Coincidence?

Any suggestions? Yogi Bear's head looks awful !

Sigh. And I still have to fix the convergence, too.
