Exactly what I wanted, right at the curb
Spied an ad in the Craigslist free section for the exact type of set I was looking for. It was at the curb about 12 miles from me. The last time I saw an older color console it was gone within a half hour of the ad post. I high tailed it over and it was gone
 This time, I decided, what the heck, and I was rewarded with this nice 1973 RCA GS704LX, CTC-58 chassis. Was pretty dirty, but cleaned up nicely. The picture tube was really weak and baking the filament did no good. Zapped the tube once and it came right up  I'd been wanting an older SS color console for a while as a daily driver (just to mix things up), and this one is just what I wanted
