I found this quote referencing this disgusting article:

I'd hardly call this "refinishing" (or a challenge for that matter), as you stripped the cabinet (managing to damage the veneer in the process) and slapped several coats of paint on. If you really wanted to "refinish" this, it would mean stripping the cabinet and using the appropriate timber stain and lacquer to restore the set to original appearance.

Congratulations on vandalising another piece of history for the purpose of looking "trendy"
