I did find an "Amvets" place here in San Diego that was CRAZY busy....and they seemed to be putting stuff out on the shelves ALL day. They did have alot of TVs, but no old ones. At least I did see a couple 13" Maggies from the 80s-00s or so, and priced at like $5.95 each for anyone that DOES look for this sort of thing

The place was so busy, I think it'll be a completely new store by next weekend

My current "holy grail" is trying to get enough parts together to get a Singer TV6U going. Been kicking my ass for nearly a year now :-P
