The fact that your smart enough to even consider what may be living inside an old TV means you'll never get surprised inside your house by an infestation that went unnoticed . Since you will open it up outside , you can shoo any obvious critters back into the wild (?) and bring a clean TV inside . It's the people who don't give such things any thought that have problems , when their new find brings in the great outdoors with itself ......
