Burned yolk plug - 25" game monitor
I know there's a game forum...but since it rarely gets viewed and I have more of a technical question, hope you don't mind I ask here.
I have a Wells Gardner monitor chasis to rebuild..pulled from a Golden Tee golf game. It has no vetical..one solid line across the screen. Its designated as a "digital" monitor in the machine. Don't have chassis number handy...25" CRT. So...my usual fix for these isn't the concern...I know why its got the line and whatnot. What I haven't seen before is a burned yolk plug. Has anyone ever seen this? Would it be indicative of a problem with the yolk and maybe repairing the thing would cause it to blow? Could it have burnt up as a result of the vert osc failing? Just one pair had a burn...the other pair was fine. Sent from my SPH-M910 using Tapatalk
