Panasonic CT101 micro color crt tv, please help

Andy, I think you're right. Those camcorders w/color viewfinders were muy expensivo, & didn't sell all that hot. Looks like it would be a small matter to adapt a regular TV chassis for it-and viola!-you've got The World's Smallest Color TV, AND bragging rights over Sony. Too bad the LCD stuff was right around the corner when this little guy came out, altho it has an infinitely better picture-the 1st LCDs weren't much good. I do remember reading somewhere at the time this was an outgrowth of the 1.5" B&W tube-obviously. I showed this thing off a lot when I got it, & all my friends wanted one-until they found out the price, $375. You could buy a 19" TV for about the same money back then. I still don't regret getting it, though.-Sandy G.

I love the picture on mine. I found some heavy duty Japanese NiCad's and rebuilt the battery container (watch out for the little metal tab...don't break it) and now get a little over 4 hours per charge.

Thanks for the tip about the battery holder clip. I run 2,000 mah ni-metal-hydride and get about 5 to 6 hours per charge. I just charge them up in a stand alone charger. If anybody needs nos parts like CRTs, tuner, battery door, alot of internal parts go to partsolver.com. I will get the exact address and post it. Are those the convergence controls along side of the crt anode lead? I would never touch them, just curious. You could probably get a wicked headache trying to converge this set.

I have found the correct address for partsolverer, they have 87 different oem nos parts for this micro set. Mostly internal, circuit boards, transistors, CRTs, caps, ant. rods,lots more.
