Field of Dreams marked the beginning of the end of my marriage... We were watching it in the theater when it first came out. I was just beginning to be swept away by the fantasy of it, I had just totally abandoned my sense of reality to be absorbed in the movie when my wife turns to me and whispers... "Is this the stupidest movie you've ever seen?"
We started seeing fewer and fewer things eye-to-eye over the years after.
