Virtually any computer monitor should be able to handle 1080i. It only requires the same horizontal scanning frequency at 540p (almost all computer monitors can easily handle 600 lines). The catch is that you might not be able to set the size for a 16x9 image. Most LCDs can't handle an interlaced signal.
