I had many German radios at one time but got rid of all but a few-all the ones I saved are Nordmende. Good products. Neat to see this! This is made in Japan? Were any VCR's made in Europe? Is Nordmende still around?

"Nordmende" isn't around any more. It had the same destiny as "R.C.A.", "Zenith"... :tears: But I don't think it was bought by Chinesee, it was bought by the Turks... (Turkish made tv sets are have a little bit more qualty then the Chinesee ones).

THE VHS I believe, very likely, everything was built in Japan by JVC under the names Nordmende and then imported into Germany, inside you see that made in Japan or U.K.. the only thing is the small German label of paper pasted on the panel rear (see picture)
