if you are carefull you can fix the broken off pin with a 300 watt solder gun even if the pin broke flush with the glass, ive done it, it works.

I tried that with one of my Zenith sets, but couldn't get the solder to take hold. How did you get it to work?

I put a "pogo pin" in the socket so that the spring loaded center pin of the pogo pin makes contact with the broken pin.

Conductive epoxy?

Except for the heater, pins on a CRT don't see much current, if any. So conductive epoxy should work. Mechanical considerations may pop up though.

Thanks Guys...
the original CRT is tested good but I have too admit i accidently broke the pin in question; slamm off even with back of the neck of the CRT...where can you obtain that epoxy form.that ya'll described to me..i found another tube that bursted lay on the side of the road in the trash :no:with the same tube number and got the rest of the neck, electron gun...hoping i would salvage the pins...its was a Maganox also..the same age..I did get the old chassis, tuners, and a few other parts
for spares:banana::banana:...but cabinet was shot! and tube was destroyed before i got there...:pity::pity:

I have a pulled (RCA) branded Magnavox 25XP22 that now tests great/uniform on all the guns after I did just one "clean" function with my Sencore. (All the guns were uniform but low to begin with and wouldn't track). It does have the typical cataract though. You can have it for the cost of shipping and work with me on the packaging.

You may be able to find one closer or repair what you have plus I'm planning on attending the ETF this year. There are options and these tubes are still out there for the looking.

PM me if need be!

Go to my web site (link below) I have a NEW, in the original carton Chanel Master 25Ap22. Look for the menu section Forsale/NOS Picture Tubes.

Contact me if you are interested.

One idea, which you can probably find at a good auto parts store:
