You know where and not mine;

http://cgi.ebay.com/1954-RCA-Victor-15GP22-tri-color-kinescope-for-CT-100_W0QQitemZ380039381146QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item3 80039381146&_trkparms=72%3A552%7C39%3A1%7C65%3A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

From the seller;

This 15GP22 does make a picture but unfortunately it is predominantly green. The tube does have a solid vacuum with very good getters. This would make a good candidate for a rebuild if the project becomes a reality. It is also a great display tube to fill a hole. The green was pretty bright and I did see a faint blue raster that was not converged but it also appears that the blue filament is out. It definitely is not as bright as the others.

And seller has lot's of trim parts, etc from a parted out set it looks like.

Thanks for the tip Dave. I am bidding on this and need it. I am working with John Folsom, I am going to be the fellow doing the gun rebuilding for the 15gp22 guns. We are also going to attempt to repair the leaker tubes and I am going to set up a protocall for the qualification of leaker bulbs.

Keep your fingers crossed that I can win this crt. It is a good candidate for the project. Of course, if someone else wins it, they can always grovel and beg me to have mercy on them and repair the dead guns for them. :nono::no::D

Glad to help. Quite a surprise to find this. And of course my two tubes move to the head of the class for the effort!

One gassier than a candidate for local sheriff. The other in my cabinet but suspect.

Which brings a question to mind - if you do discover a workable sealing technique for leaky 15GP's, do you think it would apply to 21AXP's too?

(I know, glass to glass seal is different from metal to glass, but if the technique depends on external sealing material... any hope here?)
