Philco roundie - Hagerstown, MD

Cool swivel base and only $75 but the CRT has brightener and CRT base has a chunk broken out.

Last time I turned it on briefly - it got sound and a very very faint light on the screen. But something smelled like it might have been starting to burn so I turned it off.

Same chassis as my set. I like that chassis (Philco's take on the CTC-15). Some of the differences from other clones/stock RCA make it nice to service and give it a more polished feel as a design.

Mine still worked as found only needing a tweak to the H osc slug to restore sync.

That's the same person I bought my Sylvania roundie from years ago.. Needless to say it had a dead CRT, with a brightener that wasen't visible in the pics.. and ended up reselling it... At that time he wanted to keep this Philco..
Looking for an all tube or hybrid color TV set from the late 1960s, early 1970s that's in a steal cabinet..
