B&K 1076 Television Analyst

We're a small business specializing in mostly vintage audio, and frankly I joined Videokarma mostly for purpose of selling some oddball video equipment. You can look up my postings and reputation on AudioAsylum where I am "Lee of Omaha" and on eBay, where I am "electronaddict."

Here we have a "farm-fresh" B&K model 1076 Television Analyst.

The bad news: It's rusty. It appears to have a missing probe. The bottom is not present. This will need cleaned and rebuilt to be useful.

The good news: It appears to these unfamiliar eyes to be otherwise complete. All tubes are present and appear to be original. The target is intact. We didn't try to remove it.

We won't plug it in, but we'll be happy to answer any questions we can. When making an offer, please consider the the tube complement, which includes 12AX7s and 12AU7s (see the photo of the tube chart).

You can contact us through Videokarma, directly at lee@electronaddict.com, or by phone at 402 916-4757.

That is a fairly early model of analyst. I got the same one in better shape with all the tubes for 10$ at a radio club meet some time back(and no, I don't need or want more than one).

PS: Most TV collectors don't buy their tubes from audiophile vendors, and don't pay the often ridiculous prices those vendors charge. I've bought boxes containing dozens of good used(and sometimes NOS) TV tubes that have contained more 12AX7s and 12AU7s than an analyst for sometimes as little as 1$.

From the tone of your ad, I'd assume you'd make out better pulling out those two tubes and selling them on ebay. The cost of shipping today is far greater than what an analyst in that poor condition is worth.
