I am getting ready to replace the flyback on the Philco 19" tv we talked about earlier. I have a couple of questions about it. First on the flyback I got from the parts chassis there is a small black diode or resistor connected between terminals 3 and 10 on the left side. The flyback on my tv does not have that. Should I remove it or leave it there? Also a couple of the wires on the parts chassis are reversed from the ones on this tv but the flyback looks exactly the same. Should I go ahead and connect it exactly like it is? This flyback should still work. Dont several different models usually use the same flyback? I am curious to see if it will work.

It's hard to tell for sure. I doubt that it is a focus rectifier considering its small size. YOu really need sams or schmatics for both sets to be certain.

Sorry I am so much help.....
