I'm amazed how many Zeniths I have that are the same or similar...

The 14" table model is exactly like the TV my dad's boss had in his beach house in the 1970s when we vacationed there. The house was on the ocean front and the HV cage got rusty and you could hear the hiss of arcing inside it and smell the ozone. My uncle continued to work for the man until the house was torn down to build a condo and I was lucky enough to get the TV free when that happened.

I still have the TV in my basement. It worked, with that minor arcing, when I got it in the late 1980s. Funny, the slider volume, color and tint controls are pushed all the way to the right on the display model. That would be full volume and very lousy tint and color in real life.

I've read how well these TVs were made on this forum and I completely agree. It's hard to believe it stood up to the salty ocean air and still worked all those years later, including those slider pots.

Pictures were scanned without much of the text including model numbers, so I wonder if all those are 1971 models. The 1971 23" lower-end console of my youth is not among these but there is one with the same control layout in Italian Provincial near the end.

The first of the hybrid color 19-inch models (party girl and balloons) using chassis 4B25C19. I had one for my first apartment and it was AWESOME, but had to sell it to pay rent:sigh:.

For instance, I never saw the banana-handle knobs (tennis couple set) on anything later than 1968 models. Maybe the left over knobs were saved for the later, lower priced sets. :scratch2: I was certain the single-knob channel selector on the metal cabinet large-screen model was only on 1968-70 sets.

Id love to have this brochure, time to check epay...

But did you managed to get another set later?
