Eric H 10-28-2016, 08:26 AM Pull the knobs off those four lower controls, the adjustments are through the shafts of two of them, can't remember which two off hand. I think on the RCA 11 Vert Lin is inside the contrast(center) control shaft. Height inside the tone shaft. Color killer threshold inside the vertical hold. As soon as you guys chimed in, I remembered that my 5 has controls buried inside shafts too. Sneaky sneaky! Thanks guys, that did it!! dieseljeep 10-31-2016, 10:58 AM I think on the RCA 11 Vert Lin is inside the contrast(center) control shaft. Height inside the tone shaft. Color killer threshold inside the vertical hold. That arrangement seemed to make more sense! It's easier to see the screen, sitting in front of it, instead of using a mirror. It must've been a cost factor. The dual pots were more expensive, than the singles. DavGoodlin 11-01-2016, 03:32 PM Philco did this "stealth" move more than RCA did, even on their BW portable sets. |
