Well I could not let it pass, so after lightening my wallet by $150 it now belongs to me.

1960 Zenith Space Command 400, Model F3388W, The Frederiksburg.

I wanted to choke the retard from the estate sale who was helping me load it into the old Ranger pickup - the dumb bastard slid the cabinet into the tool box in the bed - now the otherwise flawless cabinet has 2 little kisses in the right side - should be easy to repair.

TV, phonograph, am and fm work as they should - no hum at all in the audio.

I knew as soon as I saw the northern-European sounding name I would like this piece of Danish-Modern wonderfulness. :thmbsp: Good on you for saving it.

Can you post pictures of the radio and phono? And maybe the innards too? That looks like one I had back in the mid 70s. My Aunt and Uncle gave it to me when a painting fell off of the wall and sheered the neck off of the CRT. They got it around 1962 or '63 I think

Nice pics, thanks. Not the same model that I was thinking of, but parts of it are the same. Different turntable and power amp, but the tuner looks the same, (as well as i can remember). Faceplates and knobs are exactly the same as I remember
