My first B&O set and probably only the 3rd I've seen in the flesh other than through a store window. It's a Beovision MX2000 type 3119 which google puts at anywhere between 1985 and 1989. As pointed out in a previous thread this is not a true B&O set as the chassis is a Nordmende/Thomson ICC3.

So far I have been unable to get a picture through the RF input. As far as I can tell it should autoscan for channels when the TUNE button is pressed, but so far it's just cycles through the numbers on the LED display while the snow on screen doesn't change. This may be a misunderstanding of B&O's unusual (compared to "normal" TVs anyway) controls rather than an actual fault though.

Like all well behaved European sets it will automatically switch to the SCART input when an RGB signal is connected, so this isn't a major issue. Though if I do end up using it as bedroom set running a long enough SCART cable to the cable box in the lounge room will be a challenge.

As found the picture has good color and contrast. It is shifted vertically somewhat and has some trapezoid distortion, but this shouldn't be difficult to correct.

There is some crud between the CRT and the face plate that needs to be cleaned off, but so far I haven't worked out how to remove the face plate. There are some scratches on the face plate, but I doubt I can do anything about those.
