Need help on aa camera by JVC dated 1978. post pics later. Has a EiJ style 12 pin leyed socket. Need a sams on this. goes to a vcr or portable video recorder. Please help. Unit powers up fine with adapter I purchased, has a professional quality lens and lays on your shoulder like a tv station camera that's cool. Anyone familiar iwth this connector??? jvc of course no help. CAmera has electronic viewfinder, must be higher end.
Had a piece of a video srore in th 70,s ,,handled Panasonic, RCA, Sony,etc maybe I can help tell me what you need

I only know the VHS-style 10-pin and the Beta 14-pin connectors well. The 10-pin one is still commonly used in ham radio (amateur TV/ATV) video transmitters.

Hirose (an Asian company) makes the connectors I've seen (RM series) - not sure of the pinout, but I'll do a look-see and try to find a pinout for them. The round 10 pin is common - 12 pin must have been JVC specific.

Didn't take long to find one - Hitachi also seems to use a 12 pin. Here's the detail, taken from the VKC370U Color camera service manual.
